Everyday we are handling money on our hands, but do we know what we have been putting our hands into?
In the money, there was bacteria that was found called Staphylococcus.
And the bacteria count on the money can be comparable to the sole of a shoe and also on toilet seats.
Staphylococcus are known to cause Meningitis.
Meningitis is a swelling from the protective membranes covering the brain and spinal cord.
A bacterial or viral infection surrounding the brain and spinal cord usually cause the swelling.
However, injuries, cancer, certain drugs and other types of infections can also cause meningitis.
Meningitis is very serious as it can be deadly to us. Death can occur in as fast as a few hours
Most people recover from meningitis but however permanent disabilities such as
( brain damage, hearing loss and learning disabilities ) can result from the infection
Therefore, we should always NEVER rub our eyes after handling the notes and ALWAYS remember to wash our hands before eating our foods .
